new tegu

hi everybody
i am new to this forum
i have just got my first arge black and white tegu last week
i was told he/she is 6 to 9months old
he/she is very friendly,easy to handle,eats well
weights 100grams and length is 15inches nose to tip of tail
i would appreciate if anyone could give a good indication of age

Mine is almost 2months and 17 inches just saying...mabe its younger

Bmx don't u have a extreme giant though, might make the growth rates different.

That is extremely small for a 6-9 month old tegu?

Yea BMX you can't compare a giant to a normal, but either way that is definitely too small for a 6-9 month tegu! Post some pics?

I don't think you can compare any tegu, My tegu is from the same clutch as BMX's and mine is 24in so they all grow at dif. rates.

I agree, that is to small, my point was if he is in the normal range but not as big as others it's nothing to worry about. This guy is was to small thou.
