I got a new tegu named littlefoot from the petstore in derry nh called woof meow and the temperment is great hes only 3 months old and is perfectly calm im planning on building a nice big 8x4x4 enclosure for the little guy idk if its a boy or girl but everyones input is good i would like to know it btw what so you guys think of him/her please let me know boy or girl

He/she is about the same size as mine. Just got it 3 days ago. Had s couple questions for you if you could help. My little guy hasnt started eating since i moved him/her in, ive read that it might just be because of the new setup but it is still worrying me. Do you know if it took yours a couple days to eat? And i also had questions about what humididty source you are working with. Thanks

Mine ate right away and i use just a reptile mister and i also we the substrate and mix it with a nice humid hide with moss and everything he should be fine what are your temps in the tank?

nice, i just purchased a repti-fogger yesterday , kind of seems like a lot of fog.
have you heard bad things about tegus and the foggers??

warm side is at 90 - Colder side is at about 70, but ive been told i should bump it up to 100-110.. if that sounds accurate?
i also use a little 4 watt heat pad that i stick under his home at night when i hit the lights.
probably could use a bigger heat pad, any suggestions?
