New tegu

Alright you guys i just bought a tegu from bobby. Its a black nosed tegu. I liked the way the adults looked so i bought one. I requested a male and im already in love with my new tegu. His name is Zero and hes like twice the size of xander! lol he was mellow when i got him out of the box but when he warmed up WOW. Complete turnaround I fed him a buffet to find out what he likes. I put Eggs, Pinkie mice, And ground turkey and he went for the eggs and then the turkey. But any way heres some pics of both zero and xander. Now im really in a hurry to finish my 8x3x3 hes bigger than i thought.

His parents are

He's Cleo's sibling! My goodness, so far Dvdh1's Bumblee, Your Zero, Quijibo's Jango, and my Cleo are all out of the same clutch.

Keep a good eye on them, if you aren't splitting the cage. That's quite a size difference.

Wow you guys all have siblings of my zero? So cool. I thought i was the only person that bought a black nosed from bobby. And thanks for telling me about the mom dad mix up

Yea i Decided to split the cage I stapled thin mesh accrossed the middle and then put old tiles in front of that so they souldnt climb it and get hurt. Then I lined the bottom with tarp and no all i have to do is put the bedding in and BAM done lol. Ill probably get around to sealing and painting it next weekend. :fc
