New to tegu talk!!!

Hello I'm new here to tegu talk but I have had my tegu for three months and had him sent to me from tegus only down in south Florida. I must say he's been really good since day one and had been growing non stop. He is a yearling and is not quite three feet yet but he'll be there soon it's been through four sheds as of today any advise will be greatly appreciated seeing that my previous reptile experience is all dealing with iguanas for 16 years.

He is gorgeous. Congrats on your new baby! Anything specific you are hoping to find out? I can share what Ive learned along the way because I too am new to the tegu. Lots of experience with other reptiles, but new to these guys. They are much more engaging and crave human attention. They demand it actually. Mine is still a little skittish since he is new in our home, but in just 3 days he already comes to me. They are incredibly smart ... maybe too smart .. with a memory I am jealous of!

From snout to tail he's 30 inches haven't had chance to weigh him yet but when he eats he eats good.
