Hey everyone, I just purchased a 75% blue 25% red tegu female from underground reptiles. I own all sorts of reptiles and have experience with many lizards and snakes including b&w argentine but this is my first blue/red tegu. I've been spending a lot of time with her and she seems to be calming down I would really appreciate it if you guys have any techniques you have used to tame your tegu.

I let mine sleep under my shirt on my stomach while I'm laying on the couch, she seems to really like that and I think it helped her get used to me

Welcome! Be patient and be aware of how the animal is responding. Give it time and you will be able to tame him.
