New to the forum AND to tegus :-)

[Monkey Girl]

Hi everyone, I'm so happy to join this forum and look forward to learning everything I can from others!

We will be getting our yearling Argentine chacoan tegu next week and cannot wait! Not sure what the gender will be (my husband is hoping for a boy! Lol). We have been researching tons but obviously will learn more hands on.

We have very little lizard experience and are snake people (until now). Currently we have one beardie, one tarantula and 8 ball pythons. It is going to be a HUGE learning curve, but I'm ready to learn, raise and enjoy our new addition!

Welcome! That's kind of the same boat I'm in. Mostly snakes, with one frilled lizard and now my awesome tegu I'm sure you'll get the hang of it quickly! !
