New to the forum

Hello, I'm new to the forum having just joined today. I do not have a tegu, but I hope to be able to get one very soon. I've been looking around on forums for a tegu to purchase and have been speaking with someone who has one locally. It's difficult trying to decide what's best, so I came here to seek advice. When I was a teenager I had experience with various reptiles, but I sold most of them when I moved out to the West. Now that I'm an adult with my own place I'm looking to get a single tegu and spoil him.

I have other animals currently and they take up most of my time. I am very happy to be here and I hope to learn a lot about tegus and share pics and experience once I am a proud tegu owner.

Thanks! I'm working on enclosures now and also searching the classifieds. I realize this is the wrong time of year to get a hatchling, but I wouldn't mind finding a 2012 'left over'.
