Newbie here, bought the setup, just need the tegu

Hello everyone,

Been doing a lot of research the last couple of weeks and came to the realization that my next buddy will be a tegu, plus I was able to get the green light from my bossladywifey. I already have a Veiled female chameleon and a Beardie.

I wanted to make sure I had everything I needed before I got my yearling. I've been communicating with the people from Underground Reptiles and I'm looking to purchase either a Chacoan White Head or Red Argentine from them. They have been very responsive and helped answer my questions.

I've also been reading some posts here and everyone has been very helpful. I'll keep you updated!

He may refuse food for a few days, which is typical in newly-transported tegus.

Glad you said that. Had him for a week and he's only eaten a little bit of cat food. He's been burrowed most of the time.
