Well as some you may know my tegu broke her leg and i was told to replace the cypress mulch with newspaper (which i have done already) to keep the leg clean and with the lighting overhead i was wondering could it catch on fire. As you may know burning isn't part of the healing process.

No it won't catch fire. Does she have an open wound on her leg as well as the break?

no there is no open wound the vet just instructed me to keep the area clean. I really don't know why because yeah there is no open wound but then again im no vet.
