Nightime temps !

I've just realised that in and under the substrate where Teg sleeps is a lot cooler than i anticipated at around 68 - 72f ! Although the temp above the substrate is bang on at 75f. He seems happy enough though, any comment ... ? Thanks

My cage is a good 72 at night and luna never sleeps under the substrate now that she has a hide.

Could never get Teg to accept a Hide ! He's a digger ! lol

If he is sleeping there it means he likes it and its good for him. Temps I think in the winter for them range between 65-70 for hibernation etc

Well ! There's not the slightest sign of Teg going to hibernate, rather the opposite !! He's even after second helpings at around 3 pm after lunch at 1 pm !!? lol Greedy so and so ...

It's always going to be colder under/in the subtrate. Just like in the wild.
