My B&W is probably 14-15 inches long. I have had him for about three weeks now (around 12 inches when I got him) not sure as to how old exactly. What is a good way to tell the age?
he is a tail re-growth so the last 2-3 inches of his tail are shortened.
Anyways I was wondering if it was possible to overfeed him. I have read to offer them food everyday and let them eat as much as they want to in an hour of so. The reason I ask is it seems he eats large crickets and super worms like they are going out of style. one day he ate 12 crickets and 12 super worms in less than 30 min. Then the next day ate another 12 super worms and some ground turkey. Anyways that just seems like a lot to me, let me know if I should skip a day when feeding him.
Another question... sorry that first one was longer than I thought it would be.
If and when the little guy starts to slow down and act like he is about to hibernate should I reduce the temperature in his enclosure, or even turn off the UV light and the heat, as long as I keep the room around 70 degrees?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the length of the post.
