Partial shedding question???

Eva and her bro Junior have shed with not problems except for their tails. I can see a demarcation line between her body and tail but after she shed out in front, nothing is happening in back.. My theory is that her body grew but because she and her brother bruminate, her tail and her fat storage is growing more slowly thus the delay in shedding that part.

Your thoughts please. :)

Don't know why but more often than not the tail is usually the last thing to shed and takes longer than the rest of the body. Sometimes they start to go into another shed before the tail is done with the first one, which can be frustrating.

Maybe it's because of rougher scales and deeper crevasses at least on the top part. I find it easier to pull the shed off the bottom if they haven't already and work your way around. Sometimes ringing it with my fingers or a towel after a soak.

That is precisely what happened with Odin and I am still having trouble removing the sheds. Slowly but surely they are coming off but only in tiny patches.

Eva's is coming off like Odins, in flakes and patches. Junior's is still intact and it has been three weeks since his last shed. He is hibernating now and I am not going to dig him out of his substrate to check for another week or two.
I am not really worried about it ust curious.
