So I took Kodo to my friend's birthday party tonight. He was such a good boy and everyone loved him. Instead of birthday cake we had cheesecake and being the type of pet-parent who like to spoil his critters, I offered Kodo a thumbnail-sized gobbet of cheesecake. To everyone's shock, he ate it! Who knew tegus had a sweet tooth? Now before I get a million posts telling me cheesecake isn't good for tegus and what a bad tegu parent I am, it was just a little treat. Kodo won;t be getting anymore cheesecake anytime soon so please do not worry.
