Nope but I was watching an Instant Stream on Netflix last night. It was an hour PBS special on Monitors. It was great! If you have Netflix, watch it!

Its not that you can't have one in the states it just that Aussie law won't allow for them to exported. I think there are a few in private ownership in euopre but i have not met anyone that has any in the US let alone breeding.

There was a lone female at a zoo in the U.S. I believe, but there are not and will not be any for a long time. Plus they'd need a gigantic enclosure.

Frank Retes does not have any to my knowledge, and yeah Dallas Zoo I believe but they never found a date for her and I think she passed away or is really old.

you might be able to get a lace monitor. expensive though. also if i'm not mistaken, a bite from them can be nasty. similar to that of a komodo as far as a mean infection by way of the saliva. but a good looking monitor.

I thought you didn't have any room. Also, you started a thread about lace monitors like two months ago. They would run you over 2000
