I have a 5 month old tegu, he's wonderful :)
But the enclosure is getting worrisome, because there seems to be gnats inside of it. I pick up his feces immediately after a bowel movement, and I take his food out as soon as he's done eating. The substrate hasn't been in there very long, but I guess it's time for a change sense this seems to be a repeated event. Any advice on how I can avoid this?

Can do some fresh sphagnum moss in the hide and a nice size water bowl and it humidity will be fine till you dry your substrate
