Doesn't have a name yet... Don't know if it's a male or female! But that's ok he's a cool little guy.... :p

I was away running errands just now and he bit my hubby lol! Hopefully that doesn't last long. Any advice on getting him used to us would be appreciated. I feel like.. I wanted to leave him alone today at least, he's stressed and scared so hubby deserved it. Patience, confidence and dedication I'm sure will be all it takes.

And to the pics...

patience is the best advice.let him get used to surrounding first and slowly let him see you kinda letting him know your not a threat then on to handling etc....

Thanks guys. :) We're still working with her...she's quite feisty. I just hope that goes away as I don't want to be afraid of her lol... This morning was a great step though, we picked her up and she didn't lash her tail or body around like she usually does and she didnt keep her mouth open either. She still puffs up to look bigger but I think this was a good step this morning. I do know it's only been acouple days, of course... I am patient. :)

Oh, and I was afraid she wasn't going to enjoy ground turkey since she was fed all live crickets and worms at the store... We put her in her feeding box and showed her the plate and she couldn't have cared less about it lol. Then about 10 minutes later we hear her chomping down LOL she had a feast and ate for like 5 minutes straight then 15 minutes later ate some more.

We have named her Ripley.... I'm going to call her a "her" until I know otherwise lol.... The name is quite interchangeable.
