Someone insisted on pictures so here goes. The first couple are of Eva, (or more formaly Evita), and the the third one is "Junior" he is an AA hatched in August. Eva is currently about 26" and is a CB imported I believe. Junior won't hold still long enough to be measured.
Yes I know, I will have to have a talk with him. Can you imagine what he'll be like in school pictures. :p

LOL, thats logan's (my 2011 extreme) favorite place to rest.. the top of my head, wasn't bad when he was a few ounces, but now that he is about 28" nose to tail, and substantially heavier... it hurts!!!

Nice lookin GUs! I can relate to the head thing, Boon used to try and scramble up there for a better view. It sure took some patience to get him to be content with the shoulder rest.

I let Kodo perch on my head, too, but I have a mane so his claws don't bother me too much. However, he does occasionally chew on my hair and he has threaded himself in my ponytail to get his leash off. Your tegus look great.

Here is a quick question about the way Eva looks....her skin turned very pale very quickly and I assumed that she would shed soon after but it has been three days or so and nothing yet. I have her enclosure humid, her substrate is moist towards the bottom. Her basking area is 100+f and the cool end is in the 70's.
Do I have anything to worry about?

Awe Junior....what a naughty lil guy.

I wouldn't say 3 days is anything to worry about based on my personal experience. Just keep soaking her, you are doing everything correctly. Normally "trouble sheds" in tegus consist of just an inability to shed toes and tails.

You can also try hiding fruits in her favorite foods.....or try lathering her up with some mineral oil.....or olive oil
