Your request is a good one, at least in my opinion, and I started a Reddit post for just this purpose which no one has added pics to...


If poop is runny all the time get a fecal float done for worms. If your Tegu takes walks outside on leash or is around other reptiles there is a pretty good chance it has come into contact with eggs or larvae from Strongyloides worms, as they can be passed on from other animals and also can live and reproduce outside the host in leaf mulch, dirt, etc.

I am treating Sammy right now for worms, and have to keep him from brumating (which he is determined to start) until treatment and a clean fecal are complete.

If you could, take pic of next poop, note recent diet, and post. If you do test/treat for worms, please provide a follow up post and notes.
