Protein sources

What is the best meat source? Locusts, crickets, raw salmon, white fish?
I heard that they have trouble digesting fur and feathers, should I avoid fuzzies and chicks? He gets plenty of fruit and veg (although I think the locusts enjoy the buffet more)
Any advice would be appreciated

Whole prey . Diversity is even better. Mix it up , but mice, chicks, dubia are a great place to start. Do not avoid mice or chicks. They can digest hair and feathers all day long.
