puffy vent

is a puffy vent normal? i have a baby tegu it eats fine, sleeps and burrows a lot, it seems ok, im using orchid bark but introduced some cypress mulch 2day and noticed it today, also noticed head shedding today my tegu was scraping alot today.

If so, my Tegu had that for a good eight months :/ before he finally got everything back inside on his own. After a vet visit, and antibiotics I still had no clue. I finally moved him to an organic topsoil, so that he wouldn't get splinters from mulch.

now its had a pooh its gone down a bit, it was a big pooh, is sleeping alot normal??

my young one slept a lot when I first got him from the pet store because they didn't have proper lighting (resulting in my little guy having mbd) have you had him long? could the place you got him from not taken care of him properly? do you have proper lighting?
