Question About Feeding

Hey everyone,
well as some of you know, I have built Zeke a new enclosure. It's a front sliding glass doors opening enclosure and he seems to love it so far (even though hes only been in it for about 30 minutes :p )
anyways, Zeke has hit his "puberty" stage of life and has been just very nasty towards me. today i went to get him out of his old 50 gallon tank to put him in his new enclosure and he threw a fit like a 3 year old when they have been told no.
ok so onto my question, I cant really put him in his feeding bin now, because he throws a fit, and i feel really bad when I force him into it, so I was wondering, If i make his plate of food, and then set it down in front of his cage and open the sliding glass doors and let him come out and eat it on the floor in my bedroom, will he become food agressive?

first thing I would recommend is to train him to handle a snake hook, with a cage like that where it can be hard to get him out if he feels like giving you a hard time you will find it will save you alot of trouble.

As far as the food aggressiveness goes I wouldnt feed him that close to his cage at all. I have a large black throat and I stick him and the tegus in the bathtub to feed them(separately of course). Lots of space and easy to clean.
