Question about tail

It has been awhile since we posted... But we are happy to say our Charlie is getting big! We have looked over old pictures, and holy smoke these guys grow fast.

We are concerned about his tail though. We noticed that his tail at about four inches from the tip the thickness changes. I have attached a drawing of what it does... The picture is a little dramatic, but it'll give you an idea. It isn't an extreme dip in size, but it is noticeable in person.


Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry about that. Here is a drawing I just did. Obviously his tail isn't this thick towards the tip, but it gives you an idea of what it does. Everything else about him says he is healthy! Thank you for your help.

Well it looks like Charlie's tail is fine now. Perhaps this is the way it grows? It seemed like we couldn't find the change in thickness today. This is a our first tegu, so we were a little concerned.
