Then that's not to bad, and next time if you put it under columbian tegu form, there would be no miss comunication:)

from what ive read if its a columbian it shouldnt be a huge red flag. ask the guy if he uses UV lighting. it could have mbd if its real small for being that old.

Sorry, no such relationship has ever been demonstrated. Being small at any age does not indicate MBD.

A tegu that age and that size can still grow. I've had many that stayed small for the first two years or so of their lives, then ZIP, go through an amazing growth spurt.

I second this. I had 2 tegus that blew up within a matter of weeks with PROPER diet. When I got them they were fed one mouse each a week (thats it). I fed them daily and they ballooned. One of them got larger than guru.
