What type of substrate are you using?  I would check underneath it also make sure nothing is lingering like: poop, urine, old food, mold etc.  Also once you inspect everything and its all clear, maybe soaking and a lil rub down/cleanup might help.  I heard they have a slight odor after shedding (not 100% on that)  Also urine might get in the loose shedding and sit till the skins removed, I met with Dave one time and his blue had a slight odor on the tail, it looked like it was just traces of urine that might have gotta in and sat while the shed came off.
