This is what happens when I am home sick for the weekend with nothing to do!

I decided to make a new video and throw it on YouTube. It's me discussing items I feel are necessary for most reptile keepers. There seems to be a lot of bad information out there and hopefully I made it a little bit better. It runs about 12 minutes. Let me know what you think and what you would or do keep in your own reptile tool kits.

Part I:

You don't sound very sick there Joe!

All good items but you may also want to add some gauze pads in case any major wounds occur and some type of splint in case a leg/arm is broken to stop the animal from moving it around until it gets to the vet. Medical tape as well just to hold everything in place.

Other then that all very good items. Maybe even a rainy day fund in the case that a big surgery is required, even just $40 for feeders if you run out.

Yeah, I agree. The videos are geared more towards just general items and not so much first aid. I just added the first aid topic here on the thread so that we could discuss it more.

Thanks for the tips, especially useful to a noob like me :)

By the way, I don't know how you got the strength to make a video when you're sick. I would have been moaning and groaning on the sofa.

Great Vids! What do you think of latex gloves for say handling food so there is no smell of their food on your hands.
