Here is Patches, my 2 year old rescue I took in in June of 2014. She was rarely handled by her previous owner and was allowed to roam the house on her terms. She is skittish and flighty, but not aggressive. She is MUCH better behaved than she was when I first rescued her a month ago. I couldn't even touch her, much less hold her because she ran away behind the closes obstacle. She is a work in progress, but definitely happier in her new home. Time and patience is key, no need to rush when we should be living many more years together.

Her previous owner built her a cage that is decent, but I hope to make a new one soon that is bigger and looks better.

Welcome aboard to you and Patches! Glad you've joined us!
Kudos on the rescue. It looks like she's enjoying her new home and responding to it very well! Good work! Love the photos too. If you get a chance maybe you could add some to our media gallery as well!
