Snagged this young fellah following the median headed towards a pretty big intersection. It never ceases to amaze me people's cruelty on the roads, a car actually served towards him but he was hugging the curb pretty good so got lucky. There were only a couple retention ponds nearby where I guess food was running short or he was just seeking greener pastures.. err waters, so I took him to a nice nearby lake.
Brought him home for a few pics first. He's such a pretty turtle, none of the algea and battle scars you usually find on road rescues.
