and for those who are new to my situation ill give u a quick run down
I got my Savannah at a reptile expo in white plains in Nov of this year his name is Larry, hes 29 inches long and was said to be 2 in half years old and that he ate frozen mice well long story short hehasnt eatin since i got him hes been to the vet for a check up and they found a tick under his tail and pulled a claw that was hanging my alittle piece of flesh hes on to medications Enrofloxacin and was on Metacam for 10 ten days i asure you ive tried EVERYTHING to get him to eat

My course of action would be to take him back to the vet and get bloodwork done. If he's walking funny and off feed for a month, his blood phosphorous is most likely too high and his calcium too low leading to active osteocytes in his bones and an achy body. If they analyze a blood sample and find that he's high in phosphorous they can put him on oral calcium suspension that will jump start the nerves in his stomach muscles and get him back on feed pretty fast... Also, with not eating that long, he'll probably need some fluids IV to get his digestive system nice and lubricated.

That's my best guess, but definitely get some bloodwork done. It tends to point out non-feeding issues pretty fast.

yea i figured it was from not eating hes going back the 28th for a follow up any way but i have just found away to feed him i tried it just today cuz i got desprate and could stand to look at him suffering so i blended cooked ground turkey and hearts with a touch of rep-Cal and used a turkey baster to feed it him cause i basically do that same thing with his meds so i tried it and he didnt spit it up or try and fight i know force feeding isnt the best idea but im not just gonna sit there watching him Die and do nothing

and if i pissed anyone off by force feeding my buddy Im sorry but im not going to watch him suffer

force feeding isnt that big of a deal i.m.o, but these lizards can go a long time with out eating. the check-up is a good idea and blood work is a good idea. is he/she losing weight that you can tell? parasites can shrink a reptile pretty quick depending on the severity. do you know if its cb or wc?

I would say there's definitely an underlying medical issue, whether it be hypovitaminosis or parasites. When you take him to the vet, ask for bloodwork to be done and a fecal sample to be examined under a microscope. Those tests should identify the problem so he can be put on the correct medicines (probably antibiotics or vitamin suspensions)

Bloodwork and a fecal are definately called for here. Dehydration and anorexia could be causing all kinds of damage, including neurological. As far as I know no one is captive breeding Savs in the US. The tick confirms that the animal is most likely an imported farmed lizard. Get the needed tests when you take the animal in on the 28th and ask the vet to administer some subq fluids, also.
