Scar?

I Recently got a Sav from one of my friends, And it seems to have a big white smooth patch. It kinda looks like a scar. Could it be just skin that didn't shed right? Would there be anything i could do to make it go away, or will it solve itself?

looks like a burn to me, probably too high wattage of a bulb was used.

Well i got her like this. At the moment there basking spot is a little low.

SO i'm still left with questions. What should i do about it? Will it end up going away?

You could use some Neiosporin...

If its healed you could try some good woman`s face cream ...

Make sure the light fixture is securely fastened. Idk if it would just sit there and burn like that, but I've seen stuff like that when the light falls on top of them and the bulb actually makes contact with the scales. You didn't ask your friend when you got it? It's pretty noticeable, jw

He wasn't sure what it was from. The light has never fallen from where it is, and the only way to get near it is if it stands on two legs. Wouldn't explain the shoulders being burned. Although in my friend's set up it was really close to the light, it's possible it tried climbing into the fixture and touched the bulb i guess.
