Not sure if you're aware but another option for shipping if you're not comfortable with doing it yourself and the tegu is still available. Is to find a local shop that ships reptiles and ask them to do it for you. It's usually cheaper than doing it yourself. They have the needed supplies on hand, their own accounts with fedex and set rates for shipping.
