Does anyone know who to sex a rosy boa without probing it (I haven't been trained and won't risk injuring the snake)? It's 26 inches long, about as big around as my thumb at its widest point, and has two small, visible spurs on either side of the cloaca. Based on the research I have done, all the evidence points to the snake being a male (which is what I was told at the pet store). However, a museum guest who has owned reptiles longer than I have told me it was a female. I am confuzzled, please help!!
