sharp nails!

I was really wondering good ways to get rid of my yearling b/w's sharp nails. Quite frankly its to a point to where if she didn't like me I'd have stitches by now. Are there any immediate solutions, like a nail file? Or do I absolutely have to use a rough block or brick? Honestly the sooner I can get this done the better

I use baby nail clippers. I take just a little off so not to get the quick. It's a two person job with my girl though.
