Shedding behavior?

Wondering if tegus show any particular changes in behavior prior to, during or after shedding. Crankiness, being anti social, lethargic, loss of appetite, etc? Any tips or advice for shedding tegus?

Yes they can come particularly cranky.

When you notice they are going into shed soon it never hurts to spray down their hide while they are in shed once a day to maximize humidity. Fish oil and powdered Vitamin-B complex in their diet help with shedding as well.
