Sick?? Questions

So Nagion has been sleeping on and off - couple days at a time then he'll come out of his hide and lay around the cage. He hasn't burrowed or blocked anything off so I'm not sure if he's hibernating or whatever. Well when he comes out of hide we take him out for a bit and hes walking like hes drunk and won't eat. He goes for his food, then drops it (repeats the process a couple times) then doesn't bother with it. Also, not sure if it's me being paranoid or what but it seems his breathing is a little off. At times it looks like hes not breathing and I watch him very closely just to make sure he still is. Not really sure how to describe that though. Is it just because it's winter and he's groggy, about to hibernate, or could he be sick or something?? Not sure if I should just let it pass or take my baby to the vet. Any thoughts/comments would be appreciative.

Does he look like he's loosing any weight or maintaining? If he's trying to eat but not able to for what ever reason it may be best to take him to the Vet if you have a good Herp Vet around you.

What are you're temps? When was the last time you checked night temps? and how long does he bask when he comes out? Since it gets colder around this time of year, it's a good thing to keep a closer eye on night temps.

He doesn't look like hes losing any weight; and one second he wants food the next he doesnt. Can't tell if he doesnt want it or just cant eat it.
temps are 110 basking and around 80 in the cooler spots.
night temps are around 70-80 depending on the spot (its a warmer near his hide and he has a heat pad things under his tank to make sure he doesn't get too cold) - I work 4pm-midnight so I check his temps and stuff when I get home and my boyfriend maintains his stuff while I'm at work.
He lays right outside his hide when he does come out so hes right under the basking bulb

Is he drinking much at all? He could be getting ready to hibernate but there's really not much you can do. Besides wait and see what happens if anything changes better / worse or take him in.

He doesnt usually drink much as is.. he doesn't like baths and he avoids his water dish unless he thinks were not looking so I couldn't tell you much about that one. lol

I couldn't find much info about how they act when they're about to hibernate so I was a bit concerned about his behavior.
