Ok, my boy usually seeps under the mulch, but tonight I look inside to check the temps and this is what I see:

This is kind of strange; do I need to be concerned?

I had one do that before. He did it for about a week and a half then went back to his normal routine. While it is strange, I don't think it's anything to be too concerned about.

Bobby and I came to the conclusion he was just comfortable with his surroundings and didn't feel he had to hide.

I even started a thread about it lol

My female Black and White and my male Chacoan both do that a lot. In fact most nights I wake up and find them just laying around somewhere although sometimes they do go in their little hide. They've gotten kinda lazy ever since I put that hide and they very seldomly dig anymore. My female red still likes to go in the hide or dig at night

It seems as the mulch compacts they lose interest in digging as long as they have a good hide.
