Slow

So the last few days, all Nagion wants to do is sleep. Hasn't wanted to touch food the last two days - even fell asleep in food dish. we've taken em out and he'll wonder for a few minutes then cuddle up and sleep and passes out all over the cage - Is it slowing down because of the winter and getting ready to hibernate or something?

Yup thats how it goes this time of the year for most tegus, dont expect much activity

I wasn't sure; cause the other day he was running all over the place active as can be - now hes not even eating. I didnt know if I should just keep trying or what.

sometimes when winter rolled around my guys started to slow down too....its ok dont worry about it

appreciate it; the only thing I was really worried about was the lack of appetite and also if I should lower my temperatures a bit cause I've read they like cooler temperatures for hibernation/brumation

yep my girl is sleeping till spring like a bear . might see her once in a blue moon for sum h2o .but no food verry inportant thers no food in their belly or it can kill them frum roting inside of your tegu .
