Alright, So about 9 months ago I bought this bearded dragon and called her Jazzie. Then due to to many reptiles. I give her to my brother, then last month I found out she was in a 10 gallon tank and had no UVB, so I took her back. She's a real golden color anyways, but here lately she's been turning Orange under her chin and down her tail. Is this normal or whats going on with her. She'll be 10 months old in about a week. I tried to upload a picture, but I can't get it to work.

sounds like it could be normal. what kind of substrate is it on? sometimes the color of the sub can discolor the reptile

She is on the Zilla ground walnut shells or something of the sort. And yes she is fed outta the cage and I always keep a look out for impaction.

Sounds normal. She probably got some very mild MBD from being without uvb for that long so you'll need to get her as much calcium as possible without overdosing. The orange beard color is normal; if it turns black it's a sign that the temps are too low and that you'll need to warm her up a little.

Gradually. I've seen juveniles with jet black beards that dr Driggers says are due to stress and low temps. They usually clear up after the problem is corrected though.

Beard color indicating gender is largely a myth... Some breeders claim it's an indicator but there's no evidence. All beardies blacken gradually with age, so observing the ventral area is a better way to determine sex.
