tail wont shed

ive been soaking him every day for a week and nothing has even flaked off his tail his humidity stays about 70% but he has a humid hide that stays about 100% and i have a repti fogger that runs 4hrs a day

You could try using some shed-aid or something of that sort

Put him in the tub every day for an hour in 100degree water. Then rub some olive oil into it. It works wonders with Spock when he's having a rough shed.

My guy goes thru the same thing every shed, the rest of the body and legs sheds off perfectly and then stops at the base of the tail. I give him 2 baths a day for a minimum of 20 minutes and add "Shed Eaze" to the water, it is a Zilla product. When he gets out of the bath I spray the tail with a Tropical Mist, also from Zilla. It took about a week and the skin was coming off in big chunks
