Okay, i posted a thread a few days ago saying that i was getting a male and female tegu yesterday.. Well the guy decided to call me about an hour before we were going to meet, to tell me that he's decided to keep them. I got super depressed:(… but just about 20 minutes ago, my friend just surprised me and told me for my early Christmas present, that my young male tegu will be arriving at my door this friday morning! He is a male Black and White argentine tegu. Now i need help thinking of names… :) Any ideas?
:tegu:
Thanks Tegu friends! :p

That's a great story and just my opinion but as your Tegu grows, one can be a large endeavour if done right. Daily feedings, cleaning everyday, misting, baths, cost of food as they grow and the handling that is required almosy daily to keep your gu calm and domesticated, can be a lot of work. My opinion is do one the right way for some time, then add the second one if u so wish

Ugh so many choices! :) You guys rock! You dont understand how excited I am to finally be able to own my own tegu! When i looked up my package to see info on it. They said the package is 4lbs. Can anyone tell me the size (nose to tip of tail, or nose to base of tail) im looking at, and possible the age? :) Also feeding charts!! Tell me what you feed on what days to get me started up!
