Tegu can't poop

Hello my 6 month old tegu hasnt pooped in like a week but tries really hard to. I've been soaking him and he still tried but it won't come out. I tried making a vet appt but she is booked untill Thursday. He is kept In a 6ft cage with 120F on the basking sight and 80 on the cool. He is fed quail,mice,eggs,salmon,chicken,grapes,and beef liver. Sorry for the lengthy post.

There are a number of things you can give your tegu orally to help with gut motility. As you already know, mineral oil is highly prescribed in these scenarios. Natural fruit and plant fibres also help in gut motility

yes asap! but try to find a reptile specialist. your typical vet more than likely isnt going to have a clue and will probley hop online and tell you just to do what he or she finds.
