Tegu Day To Day?

Whats the day to day schedule like for your tegu? Like how much time do you put in for daily maintenance, whats it like keeping one alongside work or school? (I'm a college student--herpetology. go figure.)
I currently keep a couple different reptiles, and i've got a pretty good routine for them as far as daily maintenance, feeding, handling, etc. Just thinking about the logistics of potentially adding a tegu into the mix!

Welcome. Ultimately, care is, like many things, on a spectrum. You could keep one, checking water everyday, feeding as required, and cleaning poop as needed. 10 minutes/ day.

If a pet/pal, time goes up as you interact with it out of its cage daily, every other day, etc. and for varying amounts of time when out. An hr+/ day.

I work long days 3 to 4 days a week. On those days I only have time to through some food in a bowl maybe give him a rub on the nose if he is awake, make a spot clean if needed and that's it.

On my off days he spends hours chilling in the living room with me, granted he ends up finding a place to sleep most the time.
