Tegu eating veggies?

Yes I have a veggie loving tegu(well so far). My tegu had his first veggie today... some yellow squash. I am so happy he took to it very well and ate it like it was meat. Hopefully, We can add more fruits and veggies to his diet. I also read that yellow squash is rich in vitamin A and good for reptiles. Another plus.


Is there any other helathy veggies and fruit I can feed him?

My Tegu lovessssss tomatoes. He will eat mostly any fruit or vegetable that I give him though.

Also, try apples, grapefruit, and pears.

Mine really like berries, thinly sliced apples, and peas. Haven't tried too much else produce wise.

Mine likes several non citrus fruits, mot many vegetables and no green veggies at all...
