Hey Fellow gu owners I have a few questions. 1. Does A hatchling/month old usually always tear up their enclosure before finding a spot to sleep? 2. Do all Reg B+W have the same features? Like a sort of whitish black mixed nose? or something? I can already see that Phoenixs' nose is developing into a black snout, which is pretty cool looking. Let me know what your experiance was.

He's probably just digging around trying to find the best spot to get cozy in! :)
Like most animals, tegus will have slightly different patterns in their coloration...

Tegus naturally sleep in burrows or buried under earth so digging around would make perfect sense.

Some b/w tegus are lighter in color, some darker, some have white noses, some have black noses, some have red bellies, some don't, some have that convex shaped Roman nose.

Yes like @laurarfl and @Josh said...for the most part they look the same but do have different features like anything from the color to the heads and noses and the color of the heads and noses...some black and whites have burnt noses and some have white noses and some are really white headed and some are black...some have really nice thick and dark bands and others don't...the patterns are different...and babies usually are very full of energy and life lol...they will go through everything and anything...it's normal
