tegu food

hey guys i was wondering if it was alright for a tegu to be eating stuff like tomato sauce cause i had spaghetti and after i finished my little girl decided to poke around my dish and she started to lap up the sauce. it seemed like she loved it. is this ok?

They are garbage disposals lol it wouldnt bother him as long as its a rare treat, i had a tegu who found a cup of coffee i left on the floor she was really putting it away til i stopped her

Don't worry about it. My big b/w boy ate my left over shrimp alfredo pasta that I left on mynlow table. He was fine.

Tomatoes are good for them but with the preservatives and seasoning all ready in the sauce plus what ever was added to it,.. I wouldn't make it a habit.
