Is my tegu going into brumation???

So my tegu was free roaming and went missing. He ended up in a closet where the owner of the house wouldn't let me look for 3 days. I finally found him and he was cold. Like real cold. I warmed him up with body heat and a blanket first then under the lamp. He is a juvenile so he is eating good everyday. He didn't eat for them 3 days so after he warmed up he ate. The next day he ate again. But he has been sleeping since I found him. Two full days now. He is staying on the cooler side of his enclosure and has been asking to get out when the it's day time and his lamp is on. Could this have triggered his brumation cycle since he got so cold? My thermostat is set at 75 degrees in the house. Should I stop feeding him to see if he is in brumation? It's almost the middle of April but it was dark in the closet too? What should I do?
