Tegu head coloring is changing. Why?

Hi guys my tegu tequila, hibernated, and came out of hibernation in like march, her head was really really white, And in a couple weeks the color really darkened. The entire top of her head is a brown color now. And she just shed? Anybody see this before? Thanks

Tegus can change colors, it might change back.

Oh, Yea i was just wondering, it looks pretty cool either way, So i dont mind, as long as its nothing bad.

Diego's head color has changed big time. He now looks nothing like my two older specimens. Diego has much more white on his head. He almost looks like a white-headed or blue tegu. My wife got him for me from our local PETCO last summer. I wonder where he came from. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.
