Have a black and white Argentine tego approximately 12 years old he's been acting very lethargic he's still eating and drinking a lot of water however it seems he cannot eat solid objects as they get stuck in his throat it seems even water will sit in the back of his throat he doesn't seem to be able to hold his head up high enough to swallow but sometimes he will hold his head up I've already taken him to two vets they ran blood labs x-rays put a scope down his throat did not find anything with the scope the blood showed high elevated white blood cells the x-rays didn't show anything except a little bit of gas in his stomach he still wants to eat when you try to feed him he's on a&d science diet right now from what the VET said to give him... All he wants to do is lay around the room that he is in right now is about 85° temperature it's pretty humid all the temperatures are right he has a basking spot he has a cooling spot I have literally done everything I can to try and figure out what is wrong I have two veterinarians that don't seem to know why he is acting the way he is. All he wants to do is sleep does anyone know anything at all or experienced this. He was treated for a parasite that was commonly found in rats they also put him on an antibiotic for the high white blood cells he tested negative for scale rot mouth rot RI the blood work came back perfect for everything but the white blood the only noticeable symptom is the fact he lays around and doesn't want to move and the side of his jaw is a little inflamed but the vet says no mouth rot no bad teeth no infection in the mouth... I'm at a loss I have no idea what the hell this could be. Any advice right now is better than nothing...
