Hi, I bought a tegu last week and since I had him he has pooped once. He hasn't in about four days now and I'm getting worried. He has eaten five or 6 dead pinkies, a few slices of banana, about twenty dusted crickets, and a very small piece of pizza sausage since I got him. He is about 20 inches long and as far as I can tell he is drinking water. He seems active and doesn't refuse feedings. Can anyone tell me what may be happening and what I should do?

Is it possible he is pooping and you aren't finding/seeing it?
I'd try to get the tegu out for a soak in a warm bath for a good 20 or 30 minutes if you can. If he's impacted you'll probably see him straining to go to the bathroom in the water. I've run into that in the past with mine and during a 20-30 minute soak she'd try to go 3-4 times.
Might give you an idea of if he's got some blockage or just empty.
