Tegu Tails

Hi, This may be a stupid question but if a tegu drops it's tail will it grow back :?:

Regenerated tails will grow back in shorter and discolored, usually all black.

Thanks for your response. I know that most lizards do grow back their tails but the reason I was asking is that I was told that bearded dragons for instance will not grow back their tails. Is this true? I have no idea.

No, beardies will not grow back their tails.
