Tegu Talk newcomer

I have a argentine black and white tegu yearling named Tank. He lives in a 100 gallon aquarium. He is my first tegu, so I'm open for suggestions.

An adult male argentine b/w will need something at least 8x3. But as in life, size matters.

Is it normal when I rub the top of his head his eyes close?

Hello and welcome to the site. Put up some pictures of Tank! And yes, its normal for their eyes to close. Sometimes they do it because they are comfortable, and sometimes they do it because they are scared. Also I think it might be a auto body reaction, since tegus like to burrow a lot when something is rubbing their head, it probably means they are underground and want to close their eyes so as to not get dirt in them. Whatever the reason, you have to watch your tegus body language, and that will tell you if he is likeing it or not. (anyone can correct me if Im wrong)
